Surprise! Another post!
Colorado is predicted to get some snow this weekend, which means doomsday shopping and preparing for epic sledding. I am all set to spend the weekend doodling if there is nowhere else to go, and I’m starting to branch out into something a little more marketable than just plain wall art.
Behold, Sharpie Shoes Ver. 1.0
Mix between saddle shoe and Toms
The shoes I used were the cheapest I could find, and as a result, they are pretty poorly made, but they are great for artsy practice! Once I figure out how to fix the sharpie ink to the canvas, I’ll start taking over the world with my shoe drawing business.
Many months back, A few people who know me well commented on some pictures that were making the rounds around Facebook. A few people got a hold of some sharpies and a blank canvas and went to town. The canvas in question happened to be a car, and ever since then I’ve been contemplating turning my Silver Dodge Neon into a doodle masterpiece. Something like these:
Racing stripes taken to 11
Flowers on cars are manly
These hipster shoes brought to you by henna
The shoes would be a fun and inexpensive place to start, but the car would be a mobile billboard advertising my potential to others who might want a doodled car. I would probably hesitate if someone wanted me to deface a Lamborghini though, that’s a lot of money riding on the steadiness of my hands.
So what does the blogoshpere think? To sharpie or not to sharpie?
